Our multi-disciplinary approach means therapists, teachers, carers, professionals and Neurodivergent people will benefit from engaging in this education and learn how to best recognise and meet Neurodivergent needs.
This 3 day online workshop is grounded in the latest research and informed by evidence-based practices designed to address the specific needs of Neurodivergent individuals. Combining their lived and clinical experience, Monique Mitchelson and Anna Clarke bring a wealth of knowledge as both presenters and practitioners. Their deep understanding of Autistic and ADHD experiences ensures this workshop is not only informative but practical, equipping attendees with tools that translate seamlessly into real-world settings.
What You'll Learn:
Phase One – Essentials of Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice (1 Day)
This content is pre-recorded, and will be provided one month prior to the live dates listed below.
An essential primer that covers the core principles of Neurodiversity, historical context, legal frameworks, best practice standards, and the foundations of affirming practice.
If you’ve learned with us before, this phase is optional, but recommended. If you haven’t learned this with us before, this phase is essential. We’re offering it at a discounted rate in conjunction with our Square Model Training.
Phase Two - The Square Model (2-Day Workshop)

Focus on supporting Autistic and ADHD individuals to recover from impacts of trauma and address underlying needs including:
Neurodivergent communications & culture
Burnout management
Executive functioning needs
Sensory needs
Interoceptive needs

Anna Clarke (they/them) is an openly Autistic/ADHD psychologist and advocate. Their workshops are informed by lived experience, relevant literature, and best-practice guidelines.
Monique Mitchelson (she/her) is an Autistic and ADHD clinical psychologist, and a Board Approved Supervisor. Her transformative approach to Neurodiversity-Affirming therapy celebrates the unique neurotypes of Neurodivergent individuals.
